A training program on journalist safety and capacity building was successfully conducted in Bamyan Province, organized by Durukhshesh Media Consultancy Services.
The program brought together 15 journalists from the province to strengthen their professional skills and awareness. During the sessions, participants received comprehensive instruction on physical and psychological safety, radio report writing, environmental journalism, and digital security, delivered by experienced trainers.
Participants highlighted the importance of such initiatives, stating that in the current circumstances, programs aimed at improving journalists’ capacity are urgently needed to help them continue their work safely and effectively.
The training was conducted in two rounds, spanning a total of four days.
