A Capacity-Building and Safety Training Program for Journalists in Laghman Province Was Held

Fifteen journalists from the province participated in this program. The Durkhshesh Media Consultancy Services Organization organized the program with the aim of enhancing the capacity of journalists in the province and provided training on new aspects of journalistic knowledge.

During the program, instructors delivered sessions on digital security, physical and psychological safety, radio report writing, and environmental journalism. Participants in Laghman province stated that under the current conditions, there is an urgent need to organize such programs to improve journalists’ capacities. The program was conducted in two rounds of two days each, lasting a total of four days. It is planned that the program will also be implemented in other provinces of the country.
